Mr. Mustafa ÖZYAR
Born in Elazığ on March 14, 1970. Completed his primary education level in Elazığ and his secondary and high school levels in İzmir. Following his graduation from the Faculty of Law in Dokuz Eylül University, he completed his law internship in İzmir Bar. Graduated from Selçuk University for his Master Degree. Completing his Judicial Justice Magistracy Candidateship between the years 1997 to 1999, he began his duty of Judicial Justice Magistracy and became Judge and head of Sub Provincial Election Board in Osmaniye, Erzincan, Adıyaman, Karabük and Afyon provinces respectively.
Assigned as Legal Adviser to the Office of Prime Ministry between the years of 2011 and 2012.
Worked as Director General for Legislation Development and Publication under the Prime Ministry. Together with this position, he also became the member and acting head of Information and Evaluation Board under the Prime Ministry, Executive Director of Basımevi Revolving Fund under the Prime Ministry, member of Anatolian Agency Inspector Board, member and acting director of TC Ziraat Portföy AŞ. Executive Board and member of Sports Arbitration Board.
He speaks English and other than professional matters, he is interested in Turkish Literature and Ottoman Turkish unprofessionally.
Elected as the Ombudsman by the Joint Committee of Petitions and Human Rights under TGNA on November 2016.
Married with 4 children.
